About the job

We are looking for someone to join Credix’s Operations team as an Business Operations Trainee. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Finance, Sales, Customer Success and Engineering to set up and maintain the internal tools and automations that keep our operations engine humming. You’ll learn by doing, owning small projects end-to-end, iterating quickly on platforms like Retool, n8n, metabase, or Taktile (or via lightweight scripts), and driving daily efficiency for teams across the business.

Qualifications

• Trainee profile (0–2 years of professional experience)

• Systems thinker with a strong ability for decomposing complex, cross-functional workflows into simple, maintainable steps

• SQL proficiency for data extraction, aggregation and ad-hoc analysis

• Basic scripting skills (Python or JavaScript), or strong willingness to learn

• Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms (Retool, n8n, Taktile) is a plus, or eagerness to get hands-on immediately

• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and verbal

• Structured & detail-oriented, with a passion for clear documentation, playbooks and SOPs

• Strong communicator: comfortable interviewing stakeholders, running demos and training end users

• Growth mindset: resourceful, entrepreneurial spirit and hunger for continuous learning

Core Responsibilities

• Map, Simplify & Continuous Improve Processes

  • Surface recurring pain points and propose scalable, first-principles solutions
  • Iterate rapidly on feedback loops, measure impact and refine workflows continuously

• Build & Maintain Tools

  • Prototype and deploy dashboards, CRUD apps and automation flows in Retool, n8n, Taktile or similar
  • Write and schedule lightweight scripts (Python/JavaScript) for data transforms, notifications and integration

• Enable Cross-Team Efficiency

  • Monitor tool performance, troubleshoot issues and onboard/train internal users
  • Maintain and update the operations wiki: runbooks, SOPs, data dictionaries

• Data & Reporting

  • Craft SQL queries to extract, clean and analyze operational data
  • Build recurring reports and real-time alerts to track key metrics
