About the job

We’re looking for a data-minded Financial Controller who can establish accurate financial controls, organize financial data, and keep close track of costs and financial policies. You will be responsible for maintaining the data quality on all information related to financial flows and, with this foundation, budgeting, cost analysis, financial reporting, and internal control processes. If you are passionate about data-driven financial decisions, controllership, and ensuring financial transparency, this role is for you!

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or cost control roles.

• Process-driven with experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.

• Analytical thinking with experience in cost management, expense tracking, and variance analysis.

• Knowledge of Brazilian tax laws, GAAP, IFRS, and financial regulatory requirements.

• Tech-savvy & automation-oriented with experience in SQL, BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI), or Python.

• Expertise in ERP systems, and accounting software.

• Previous experience in high-growth credit or financial services companies is a strong advantage.

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Control & Reporting: Maintain accurate financial statements, track costs, and provide periodic reports.

• Cost & Expense Management: Track operational costs and identify efficiency gains.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in financial planning, variance analysis, and forecast alignment.

• Compliance & Controls: Ensure internal controls and tax/regulatory adherence.

• Process Automation: Collaborate with Finance/Engineering to automate financial workflows.

• Audit & Risk: Support internal/external audits and risk management efforts.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Capital Markets and Operations to drive financial strategy.

• KPI Tracking & Dashboards: Develop dashboards for key metrics (cost-to-revenue, cash burn, etc.).
